Viet Duc Science Company Limited technical training and procedures for sustainable shrimp farming for farmers in Thua Thien Hue

On December 22 and 23, 2020, Viet Duc Science Co., Ltd. cooperated with the Center for Agricultural Extension of Thua Thien Hue Province, organized a training course on techniques and procedures for sustainable shrimp farming for households aquaculture in 2 districts: Phong Dien, Vinh My – Phu Loc, Thua Thien Hue province

At the training class, people were introduced and discussed by the Director of Viet Duc Science Company Limited, Ms. Bui Thi Huynh Hoa:
– Some decree mechanisms and policies on fisheries
– Basic knowledge about pond design and improvement process
– Technique for selecting and stocking white shrimp
– Pond management and care techniques
– Integrated disease prevention as well as harvesting techniques and post-harvest preservation.
– Model of sustainable shrimp farming optimizes economic efficiency and cost
– How to use probiotics, treat the pond environment one by one – Observe shrimp to adjust feed, manage and prevent integrated disease.

Through the training class, people can research and apply the shrimp farming process, propagate to local people about new production methods, scientific application technology in shrimp farming, using probiotics to improve productivity and product quality, step by step form value chain linkages and meet market requirements. Opening up a new direction in shrimp farming, contributing to the development of aquaculture activities in Thua Thien Hue province in a sustainable direction.
